Winmar - Sandy 2's

Post: # 934771Post shmic_s »

Did anyone get there early and have a chance to look at Nicholas Winmar in the 2's on Saturday?
Just wondering if he played a full game. How did his disposal look?
Cheers.

He played ok...remembering he's been out with a stress fracture...he got caught a couple of times with the ball but he did show some signs of pretty good pace and his kicking was pretty good...

Had a quick chat chat with him pre game and he's a really nice kid...he was just glad to be able to play.

A couple more weeks and more game time will give a better indication of where he's at

Great to know he got out there and got some game time. Good to hear he seems like a nice kid.

How much did the club have to pay the aliens to give him back.

Interested in Blake McGrath...it'd be good to see a former NSW Scholarship kid actually go on and be a good player for the club....

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

And he is massively tall, saw him at training and he makes Stanley look short.

Maybe this year?

Hutchings played seniors.

Winmar will be a gun. I'm being completely serious, history shows you can tell from a players surname whether they will be any good... case in point, "Selwood".

Evidently we did not know about this drafting technique when we passed on Jack Riewoldt. :(

Edit: maybe slightly tongue in cheek
