The club has really taken hold of this "saints footy" line haven't they.....the media seem to like it too, so might as well make the most of it......

As a group, the players made a promise to each other, to the Club and to our members to let their actions speak for them. They backed each other to do more than they had ever done before. To play ‘Saints Footy’. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>.

They also seem to have cut the pries of the junior memberships, obviously trying to encourage family's.

Maybe next year they should include public transport tickets for game days, could be a winner.

Love the slogan and the price cut in the junior membership.

Intersting the fact that they have very little info re the social club in the booklet. When I phoned last week they said they hadn't yet finalized how they were going to do a waiting list and the membership brochure would reflect this which it does. ( I want to wait list my 2 year old) as the rest of us are already s/c, but hadn't added him yet.

Interesting that there is a fairly dismissive response to the many complaints that they must have received regarding foundation s/c membership.

There is no price for s/c in the booklet. Just the reference that no new s/c's can be bought. Looking at my account on the link, if the adult is $180 then the s/c must be $130 as the total listed in my account is $310. It also says the payment plan will be 10 months again this year, but doesn't really say when it will start etc. Guess I will have to wait for the renewal form for that, which I guess willl be in the next few days.

Kind of ironic that "Actions, not words" is communicated with...

words.

What do you want them to do to communicate the membership campaign.

An interpretive dance?

They should've written 'starting from now' at the end.

Yes.

Ross doing this would have suited me nicely. It screams "actions not words". Except for the words at the end.

Just got the email and felt compelled to respond.

After years of being ignored, our message is getting through - and this is a very, very impressive end result.

As a club, we need to get professional in everything we do, but we also need to get the fans involved. This our club.

If this is the sign of the marketing and membership ideas to come, I like it. It's fresh, it's forward-thinking and most importantly, it puts the fans first.

The signs of improvement (media, marketing, dialogue with fans) are not going unnoticed. Keep it up.

Time for us to become industry leaders in everything we do.

Are you going to buy a Saints membership this year?

We want actions, not words 8-)

Just wait until grand final time....The wording around "guaranteed ticketing" has not been changed one bit.

Still, it is a much better promo..

I still prefer my slogan that I presented to the club free of charge:

"Cut the bulltish and win the fkn thing"

Should have gone with that one.

"Now the ball is loose, it gives St. Kilda a rough chance. Black. Good handpass. Voss. Schwarze now, the defender, can run and from a long way".....
