since when nathan000? and why would we want him much less be able to afford him. seems illogical to me that you are asking the question when the guy doesn't even fit into our list management program.nathan000 wrote:Seems as though he'll be heading to the pre season draft.

Obviously, but if he is going to come out and publicly state we need a tall forward surely he would of had a discussion already with our recruiting staff and coaches. Maybe we can't afford Bradshaw, maybe we don't want him, i only started the thread to get some discussion going. Sorry.ausfatcat wrote:What are you on drugs it's Westaways call? omg. Westaway has nothing to do with recruitment at all.nathan000 wrote:Westaway was saying he wanted another tall forward, that's why i asked the question. He isn't happy with the Lions using him as trade bate to get Fevola.

He will go to carlton, he was offered a job at Visy when carlton were trying to get him to agree to the fev trade

Yes but even he is capable of parroting what the recruitment staff tell him they are doing.ausfatcat wrote:What are you on drugs it's Westaways call? omg. Surely we don't want a bloke who has cracked the s***s with his club and walked out on them because he sees he won't have the opportunities he thinks he deserves...
Oh hang on, he's coming to us not leaving us?
Well that's okay then.

If he wanted to go to Carlton he would have been smarter to have agreed to the trade that way he would have got included.Armoooo wrote:He will go to carlton, he was offered a job at Visy when carlton were trying to get him to agree to the fev trade
Brisbane would only have had to give a little more then to get the deal done.
Now he has no guarantee that another club wont take him in the pre-season draft.
Koschitzke 48 goals from 23 games including finals.
Bradshaw 50 goals from 19 games including finals.
Both a versatile players who can play other roles than full forward.
He would be handy addition to our team whilst the premiership window is open, but I doubt we could fit him in the salary cap.
However due our late position in the pre-season draft our only hope of getting him would be if he went into the national draft.
He is unlikely to do that because only the pre-season draft allows him to set his first years salary.

Being second last in the order is a big reason why we might skip it.plugger66 wrote:If you talking the pre season draft I would doubt be have any pick at all.saintsRrising wrote:Re: Are we a chance to snare Bradshaw?nathan000 wrote:Seems as though he'll be heading to the pre season draft.

Wouldn't mind him, he'd be that third tall/ medium forward we've been looking for, but he wont be there at pick 32.

Do we really want to use our only top 60 pick on him though?plugger66 wrote:He will nominate for the pre season draft but if he nominated for the main draft he certainly would be there after pick 32. No way he wojuld go before that.Armoooo wrote:Wouldn't mind him, he'd be that third tall/ medium forward we've been looking for, but he wont be there at pick 32.
