Luke Stanton
Noticed Luke has been delisted
192cm, 84kg midfielder. Was lazy early on but has worked really hard on his fitness and endurance and is a very strong overhead mark. Has not played a senior game.
Cousin of NDS.
In a so called shallow draft could be a good third or fourth round selection as he has already had a year in the system.

Why? If he's not up to grade then he's not up to the grade regardless of how long in the system, espeacially if a club dumps him after one season into a 2 season contract says something.

He didn't have a 2 year deal, he was on the rookie list!ausfatcat wrote:snippa wrote:In a so called shallow draft could be a good third or fourth round selection as he has already had a year in the system.

How did Milne, BY HIMSELF, cost us a second flag?jonesy wrote:Who cost us a second flag...sax wrote:Stephen Milne was a delisted rookie!ausfatcat wrote:Even worse then
Seriously a delisted rookies now?
Schneider missed 2 easy goals, McQualtar missed an easy goal, the goal umpire called a shot hitting the post a goal, after Zac played on in the goal square for some stupid reason, Raph was run down from behind in the 1st 3 minutes which cost us a goal, Roo and Koz missed very gettable shots, etc, etc!
But hey, it was probably just Milnes fault we lost the Grand Final!
....what an angry place this is turning out be....
Think I will just come back in March.
FWIW I know quite a bit about Luke and he can play. He did'nt get an opportunity at the Blues but it doesn't necessarily mean he is no good.
Just a suggestion for a look is all given the quality in this years draft and the fact he is 19 with a mature body.

Milne was NOT a delisted rookie.
Milne played for Essendon reserves.
He was never an Essendon listed senior player or rookie.
Collingwood still has a team in the VFL competition.
Some of the players are Collingwood senior listed players, some Collingwood rookies but the remainder are VFL players.
These VFL players are no different to Sandringham players.
These Sandringham players are NOT St Kilda players.
They can be drafted by any club out from under our noses.
St Kilda rookie drafted Milne out from under Essendon's nose, because he was an Essendon reserves player, never an Essendon AFL player.
Milne averages 2 goals a game as a small forward, fighting with everyone for scraps at the feet of marking forwards.
2 goals a game small forwards are rarer than hen's teeth.
For comparison Koschitzke got 45 goals in 20 games this season, Milne 44 from 20 games.
Marking full forwards kicking 2 goals a game are a dime a dozen.
Milne sets blocks so marking forwards can lead, harasses and chases defenders into the arms of tacklers.
How often do you see Kosi do that.
Milne may have been a rookie but he does more than a National Draft No 2 pick.
The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

Milne was never Rookie listed - he was on Essendon's Supplementary list. Supp list players were never tied to clubs and could be drafted by anyonesax wrote:Stephen Milne was a delisted rookie!ausfatcat wrote:Even worse then
