Bit of background before i get into the story. I have supported the saints since I moved to WA from sydney. (being from sydney needed to barrick for someone the eagles and shockers no thanks sydneyll yes but no cigar i read matt hardy's book which made me fall in love with the saints.( i now own three copies.now back in sydney.)) I've been member 5 years and have taken the best half (the missus) with me. She has thought supporting the saints as being something which we can share. She baited the geelong supporter at work (as i told her u give what you are prepaired to recive and she hasn't grasped the saints past.). What i'm getting at is how through your more exprrienced eyes how i can keep her putting her heart and soul through this (as i do) when as she said 2 mins after how can you do this it hurts so much vowedethis is rubbish never doing this again (with tears in her eyes) any sugestions appreciated.

Being a saint is character building, the pain we feel along the way will only enhance the euphoria we feel once we get there...

JWALTO - We arent the worst AFL side. We are 12th on the all time ladder just behind carlton and port, collingwood. We will win a flag in the next 2/3 years i assure you. I have a feeling we will go back to back. Dont be silly stay with the saints just a little more this is OUR time.

If we win the flag we will then be in the top 8 AFL Ladder.

Question: Why is VFL stats put in with AFL automatically when we dont include the VFA premierships before the VFL??? I tell you why its a different comp.

we are an ok AFL side about to become a good AFl side and who knows maybe a Great (top 4) AFL side.
