Fair pick up for Blues. They need vertabrae.
"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
Typical player not keen to put in the hard yards to achieve success at the one club
Soft decision from Brock. Future captains of clubs do not leave regardless of the situation. Everyone wants success and it is a tad obvious that without anything resembling a backline Carlton will not achieve greatness any time soon

The have been cases in the past that players have been offered up for trade and never wanted to go...
Farren Ray...
Milne was offered for trade not long ago...
Of course players can be traded if they don't want to go

It says that he has asked to be traded etc. If the dees did not want him they would have stated an amicable parting of ways
Really soft from an apparent hardnut. Questions have to asked now of the Melbourne Football Department as to how a man seemingly the young face of the club walks out.

No need to be a smart ar$e about it...
Yes Milne still plays for the Saints FFS
It just that sometimes players get traded without them wanting to leave..
Farren Ray is just one example and Milne was on offer

I didnt know that he had agreed but my point is if a player is leaving even before trade week even starts that it would be pretty obvious that he is agreeing to it. A player can never go to another club if though dont want to. they usually agree but it is always up to the player.St Fidelius wrote:Okay I didn't know the Brock requested to be traded..plugger66 wrote:Did he get traded? i thought he plays for us still.St Fidelius wrote:What the...plugger66 wrote:Why would he go if he didnt want to?St Fidelius wrote:Do you actually know that Brock wanted to be traded?reincarnated wrote:Typical player not keen to put in the hard yards to achieve success at the one club

He's overrated anyway...good to see the Blues not putting much thought into their recruiting....
I thought they lacked up Forward and down Back but maybe Wallace spooked them when he said the Carlton midfield were downhill skiers....
maybe they want him to replace Hadlee ,who ,it was rumoured,is heading back to Brisbane,if a deal gets done with carlscum....

How many defenders will The Saints pick in the 2024 draft ?

I actually find this all a little odd...have we ever had a player traded before the trade period even begins? Wouldn't Melbourne at least sit down with the other clubs and see what else might have been on offer? What if a club further down the ladder was happy to offer more...
Strange if you ask me, and then to release the statement prior to trade week?
Maybe it is just me, but seems odd. Funny how it always involves Carlscum.

Schneider never wanted to be traded and he was, so you never have to want to go to a new home
This must mean that Hadley really is on the move, he may not get a gig with Brock in the line up, i wouldnt mind Hadley...
And again, their backline is the worst so why they arent stocking up there they are idiots

Schneider never wanted to go but had to agree to it which he did. No club can trade players without them agreeing.Batnoe wrote:Schneider never wanted to be traded and he was, so you never have to want to go to a new home
