Raphael Clarke – 4
Struggled to inject himself into the contest from various positions. Offered just a token chase of opponent Harry O'Brien who set up a Leon Davis goal in the final term.

Not a bad effort, thought he was a bit harsh on raph and ball who imo played well. certainly a tough marker though...

also inerseting reads in:

"Medhurst should give back his match payment,"

HOW THE GAME WAS WON
St Kilda got their mojo back. Their trademark frontal, physical and inferred pressure was evident across the four quarters, they were more desperate, worked for one another more than their opponents and were absolute in their commitment to the gameplan..
a good summary of the game

Whilst i don't tihnk he had a good game, the chase on Harry O has been mentioned again and again and IMO is quite unfair.

he chased him but u could see right at the start of the chase he was puffed out abd was runnig out of steam, he went with him for as long as he could but ran out of steam

that goal was hardly Raph's fault as it has constantly been made out to be

there's plenty of things to criticise Raph about yesterday (as well as positives too) but don't make things up
