Who would we prefer to play?
Hi
I have only watched Saints games this year, so I'd like to hear what others think about Brisbane and the Bulldogs?
Strengths, weaknesses, any preferences on who we would like to play?

The reply regarding Brisbane was my fault.
I was trying to type in the teams who were vying for a place in the finals against us in 2 weeks. I wrote Adelaide and the Dogs, in excitment, but then realized and changed the team name. Not fast enough, however.
The poster was right - we've beaten Adelaide twice.
My mistake. Sorry.

i think the lions were great lastnite we were average today but we should beat either, but in saying that the first quarter today was a disgrace fancy the coaches sending them out in that frame of mind they need to watch it if that happens again a good side would of been 7 goals up on them today. footy is rubbish these days, its no risk stick to a plan crapola all these possesions hardly any goals kicked it was a boring game

we'd rather play the bears, on the road for a second week in a row and after a very tough game just getting over the western bulldogs. that said, on yesterday's showing the dogs don't worry me an enormous amount. i'd suggest that neither side has a defence which can really hold our forward line - geelong and adelaide the real worries.

We can only improve from here.bergholt wrote:we'd rather play the bears, on the road for a second week in a row and after a very tough game just getting over the western bulldogs. that said, on yesterday's showing the dogs don't worry me an enormous amount. i'd suggest that neither side has a defence which can really hold our forward line - geelong and adelaide the real worries.
We played on average at about 75% today - sometimes stepping up to full throttle when needed then easing off.
The Prelim should see us step it up a notch or two, but still not at full throttle for the match.

Drivel. It was a dour game, I agree, but the discipline of the team to crush the life out of the puffed-up Pois was awesome.jay young wrote:i think the lions were great lastnite we were average today but we should beat either, but in saying that the first quarter today was a disgrace fancy the coaches sending them out in that frame of mind they need to watch it if that happens again a good side would of been 7 goals up on them today. footy is rubbish these days, its no risk stick to a plan crapola all these possesions hardly any goals kicked it was a boring game
We'd beat either the Dogs or Leons on today's form, like we did in the H & A.
