"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

5- Dal Santo. Was everywhere. I didn';t even realise he got 39 touches but anyway, he was sensational.
4 - Montagna. Very hard to split him and Roo in my opinion, but Montagna did a lot of good things and was hard in close, which we missed with ball out.
3 - Riewoldt - was terrific. Dominant and kicked six goals. his haircut is absoltuely appalling though so I give the points to Montagna.
2 - Hayes - excellent game in clsoe, just as good as Joey i felt. Jopey was slightly more damaging. Great game though. sure hope he isn't injured.
1 - Gram - Brilliant game, makes up for his poor kicking last week. Was very damaging and we really were boosted by his speed.
Apologies to Raph Clarke and Kosi who would've figured in the votes if he had've kicked better. Bj would've gotten a vote were it not for his dummy spit after he cost us that goal. Very unprofessional but we move on. No-one else really stood up for me i thought.

I am not sure how Gram doesbobmurray wrote:Not sure how BJ gets a vote for todays game...I think he needs to spend less time directing traffic and more time on getting his disposals right....
We need him hitting targets in the finals.....
Roo, Hayes, Dal, Goddard, Kosi, Joey, Gilbo, Milne even (26 touches) were all miles better than him
I know some people have their favourites and others have their players they bag, but how does Gram get a vote?
He kicked about 4 or 5 into the fwd 50 (especially in first quarter) that resulted into direct turnovers where Melbourne scored 2 goals from the turnovers from his kicks
His 2nd half was good, but wasnt good for the whole game
