Go All The Way!
G-Day Sainters!
I not here to gloat after last week's game (it was an amazing result for me!). Just want to say that while I was obviously ecstatic after the final siren, I did manage to turn to a few of your supporters and wished them well for the final's series.
It appears that the only truly in form teams are you guys and the despised Magpies. The Cats have lost their intimidatory aura, and will struggle to beat Collingwood. Bulldogs are an interesting unit. They are good defensively and through the midfield, however, they don't rely on tall timber up forward.
This is where your mob have the edge. Kozzi and Riewoldt will make life hard for any defence - especially when you have Milne and Schneider roaming around them. You also have strength all over the field which is why you will go through the season with only one unlucky defeat.
I was emotionally behind you guys in '97. Even shattered that you didn't win it (which is strange as I consider myself a "one-eyed" Bomber supporter). Now I find myself getting emotionally behind you guys again. The Bombers may just (and only just) scrape into the 8 this year. It matters not as reality tells everyone they will only get polaxed anyway. So, what I am hoping to see is a commanding effort from the red, black & white throughout September.
I think it would be sensational if you guys meet Collingwood in the Grand Final, and naturally Saintsational if you win it!
And I think you can.
Good luck!

Feel free to hang around to read and post your thoughts as the pointy end of the season approaches. Its refeshing to read some well-thought out opinions from the other side of the fence
Good luck to you also for your campaign. You play a hi-risk brand of footy that is great to watch when it comes off (except when it does against us! )

No worries guys (and gals), I'm genuine. I am fortunate enough to support a club over the years that has enjoyed success. It's always good to see a club that has gone through some pretty tough times, begin to threaten the competition. Seriously, good onya's.
While my club is in transition - saying goodbye to some great stallwarts, I am encouraged by the youth that is coming through. However, I don't think my team will become consistent enough for at least a couple of more years yet.
Your time is now. You guys have missed out narrowly in the past few years in the Prelim, but this is the year when your players must burst through and win. Anything else would be catastrophic. And to be honest, it's a shame someone like Robert Harvey couldn't enjoy this great opportunity for a flag.

Welcome RedBlack & No White. Thanks for taking the time to come over and wish us well. it is a breath of fresh air to have an opposition supporter come over and create a thread that is objective and unbiased. I try to be unbiased when looking at other teams and most of the time manage to do so unless Cartlon is involved......
I hope we see a lot more of you over the coming weeks. Wish your team well over the next few weeks (unless you end up playing against us)

Good to see we have something in comon there! Despise those criminals. From crooked Presidents to cocky arrogant supporters, I absolutely hate everything that is Navy Blue. Lets hope they get hammered in the first week of September.saint75 wrote:Welcome RedBlack & No White. I'll pop in from time to time....most likely when my team has surrendered and it's left to the top four to fight it out for the flag.
