Unvelievable Year but Have we peaked to soon ?
What a year thus far ..
there were a few weeks this year where we had every player all playing at their peak form together and with a lot of intensity and energy.
They all were peaking together.
Geary was in top form averaging 20 possessions and providing plenty of run, even Ball was doing well averaging 20 odd.
Our work rate and defensive pressure was enormous.
Has this magnificent effort taken its toll ?
We seem to have lost some zip lately - but I suppose Geelong has too.
Collingwood on the other hand seems to be peaking at the right time and the Bulldogs seem to be on their way back too?
I hope we can recover our energy levels and get over any nigglies so we can peak for the finals - when it counts.

We are on a training progam so that we peak during the finals. We can't expect to be brilliant every week and win every game.
Why is everyone taking one game so seriously as if it is how we will play the rest of the season?
a few weeks ago we smashed two top 4 challengers (dogs & crows), we win 19 in a row, and just miss out on the 20th...
So now we are tired?

Where did this heavy training program theory come from? Acker?kaos theory wrote:We are on a training progam so that we peak during the finals. We can't expect to be brilliant every week and win every game.

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

My thoughts as wellplugger66 wrote:Well we must now play the dogs or Pies in the first final. Must say I dont understand why we would want the dogs to win tonight. Surely it would be better playing Adelaide or Carlton in the first final.samoht wrote:Go dogs !Moccha wrote:Now the Cats are gone
