I'm there. Unfortunatly won't be attending any pre/post match functions.

Bit of a 'bender' weekend with the boys. Rosehill saturday before the game. Will probably be drinking at Club Swans friday arvo just to get into the spirit.
Always highlight of the year this trip

This year we might also win! Think I'm zero from 5 on the Sydney trips.

Hey I'm doing Rosey with a few mates prior to the footy also. Thougn unlike you I have a 100% record on sydney games - the only game i've seen there was the torrential rain game in 2006 which we won in a thrilling finish with Roo taking a big mark in defense. Having said that I'm Canberra-based so really should be getting to more of the sydney games. Just prefer watching us down in Melb.

Would of thought 35,000 would be the absolute maximum. Depends,Sydney media may give it a little more coverage like 04 when they tried to pump up the swans being the first side to beat the saints...it worked :?

I'm just buying at the gate I think, unless we get freebies

We talked a bit about the post match function in a thread at the the end of June. A number of us will try to get into the post match function at the Fox Studios - if we can't get in we may try to organise an alternative drink somewhere else.

Pre game ? still can't find anything official. So a few of us will be going to the Taphouse hotel in Darlinghurst from about noon to 4.00pm before we start heading to the SCG.

Highly recommend the function - it's usually hosted by Rhys Muldoon, all the players are in attendance and there is always a few interviews on stage, chance to meet the players, get autographs, buy merchandise etc. Probably not that exciting if you can go to Etihad each week, but they do make all of the players accessible. Last year there was only a handful of people present but I get the feeling there might just be a few more there on Saturday. I can't wait!

So, there's two! Just as well there's a good contingent going up. Paul Roos says that he doubts the Swans will even score against the Saints. We live in hope.

I'll be in Bay 13 (about 13 rows back) at ground level.
Can't wait.
