Ross Lyon = Supercoach?
Whatever the reason for Luke Ball's omission today...
there can be no doubt that it inspired our boys to a new level of intensity....
Bally will be back bigger ad better than ever; but like anyone he'll have to prove he deserves his place (as we all know he does).
Well done RL, coaching staff, fitness staff, board members(for keeping your noses out of Footy operations), and most of all our players.
Maintain the focus... Eyes on the Prize...Let's get this done!!

Super coach no doubt knows his footy.
Has systematically installed a hard edge and disciplined edge to a saints side Ive never seen.
As a caller to SEN said after the game - there have been saints teams with more stars in them and perhaps more "potential talent" - but there has never been a saints side with this level of consistent discipline and machine like attention to the 1% elements of footy. This to the point where players will sacrifice getting themselves a kick to lay a tackle, shepherd, smother etc.....just brilliant.
The players have been super in carrying it off so far but make no mistake this is all Ross Lyon.
Now we need to maintain the rage - it all means jack if we lose another prelim.
This IS our time.

saintly wrote:interesting that there was caller on SEN who talked about Ray not being great in parts of the game as he was just looking for kicks and Mark fine said maybe thats why Ross Lyon was talking alot to Ray at the 3/4 time break
