Tanking - lead up games to finals

With all this talk of tanking . Is it a bad thing at all that we are facing north melbourne and melbourne in the final 2 rounds leading up to the finals

i wont say that they definitely are tanking at this point but for melbourne it might mean finishing last and getting the number 1 pick

you want to be facing high standard teams in the lead up to big games so there isnt such a massive leap in intensity

last year we beat essendon convincingly then got smashed by geelong, if we play the bulldogs/crows/pies after playing a piss poor melbourne it could spell danger

one positive thing though, rd 22 is at the MCG

Maybe we should rest as many as possible for the Melbourne game?

We'd effectively have a weeks rest leading into the Qualifier, then a weeks rest leading into the Prelim (something we haven't had since '97)
