I thought both these guys step up this evening. I have been the first to be critical of Grammy, especially when it comes to head over the ball. He exceeded my expectations tonight in the last quater, well done

I felt Snitzel was out to prove a point, to perform in a finals type game. His tackling was excellent and his link work up the ground was pretty good as well. Lets not forget the two goals to open with.

I think tonight's game was the best defensive effort I've seen from Gram to date - really stood up when it counted - maybe tried to be too cute a couple of times, but the positives far outweighed the negatives.

Snitzel - Schneider

Was brilliant in the opening quarter, but his workrate was fantastic after that.

Chased, harrassed and tackled strongly, laying 7 tackles and a few big ones inside 50.

schneids tackling, imo, was poor in one on one situations - seemed unable to stick a tackle on a running player.

Schneider was likewise terrific..his mark at the death to then set up Zac fot that goal was just sublime use of the body to work his opponent under the ball
