50 metre penalities
are the umpires over excited at the idea of paying these?
the couple port got were 50/50 at best and ours ways also soft
do we need a new shorter penalty?

see this is not a "they are against us" thread, I just think that it's such a big penalty.SaintDebi wrote:and if they insist on paying soft iffy 50 metre penalties then at least they should be consistant and pay them at both ends.

I thought Bakes penalty was a joke and Kings was line ball. As regards to introducing an option to the umpires of a twenty or twenty five meter penalty, I thought Matthews and Buckleys comments of bringing the umpires even more into the game and making calls that influence the game more subjective instead of objective were spot on.
Are you gonna be the one?

I didn't think neither one warranted a 50, a classic case of over umpiring. I thought they were very ordinary all night, they paid stuff that was hardly even there and then they let a hell of a lot go......the amount of throws Port got a way with was astounding IMO.felixleo wrote:I thought Bakes penalty was a joke and Kings was line ball.
