Silvio Foschini in a commercial

My favourite player as a kid until Nicky came along.

Still waiting for closure ... if you get my drift.

Gary Ablett with a smile?

Priceless.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Exactly the same. We must like like the same style of players.
Foschini never ceased to amaze me with those consistent snaps at goal across his body near the boundary on the run.

To think now the majority of players today are 50 50 from 30 meters out directly in front with a set shot.

I remember listening to him being interviewed about 4 years back.

He said that he lives close to the Moorabbin ground and offered his services to the Saints on how to kick those goals.

I am not too sure if the Club followed through with it

Silvio lives about 1/2 way between Waverley Park and the Wheelers Hill Pub. A fair hop from Moorabbin. Still follows the saints although his kids were brainwashed by their mother and follow Carlton.

I think his younger son is a junior on Melbourne Victory's list !! !!

Oh well mate, that's what he said during the interview....

Again, it was at least 4 years ago and he said that he just lives around the corner for the Moorabbin oval...

From memory, I think he also stated that his son plays soccer

hahahaha, classic.
You can spot Sam Newman (front row, right; at the end of the clip) before he discovered hair colouring.

That's an awesome effort. I was wondering if the Swans player was Stevie Wright, but definately Bernie Evans. The Richmond player's got me whacked...Monteith? Roach without a moustache?

Where's the old SEC add that used to feature Jezza (in St Kilda guise)popping up in the middle of a Collingwod vs ??? night GF when the lights went out??? Only 'funny' becuase there was zero likelihood of St Kilda ever featuring in a GF at the time...cheeky bastards.

Yep. Matthew is his name, havent seen him play but by all accounts he is a decent player with a good engine. A potential gun player lost to the round ball game.
