LIONS coach Michael Voss has reportedly made a secret trip to Perth to meet Ben Cousins.
Voss flew to Western Australia on the weekend with Lions football manager Graeme Allen for a face-to-face meeting with the disgraced former Eagles captain, radio station 3AW is reporting.
The visit comes less than a week after the Lions board appeared to go cold on the prospect of drafting Cousins, but Voss said Brisbane was still open to the possibility.
"I just think the door's not shut," Voss told Channel Seven. "That's what's been communicated to me in any conversations internally in the football club."
Cousins is yet to announce whether he will enter Saturday's AFL Draft or wait for the pre-season draft in December.
St Kilda appears to be the only other club likely to draft Cousins. It is meeting tomorrow night to decide whether it will attempt to recruit him.

i think there very intrested, they never officially said they were not only one of their lessor sponsors said they would not like them to draft BC.
