Re: Farren Ray to the Saints ???
Would be ok as long it's not our 1st round pick!skeptic wrote:Dealing in the works reported on SEN

Amazing pace. Little else.
Better than Kane Tenace.
That just about sums him up IMO.
Bulldogs mate of mine reckons Ray for Kosi would be a fair deal.

IMO Ray for a draft pick outside the top 30 is a far better idea than any other rumour I've read on here in the past few days (apart from getting Cousins in the PSD, of course: which is no longer just a rumour).

Please dont state trades as fact unless they are a 10000% officiallly done deal..a ? at the end will save any confusion
I don't rate the kid personally... a pick outside the 30s sounds about right

I'm sure the Doggies will be talking up that he's a Top 10 draftee...but Adam Thomson went for 42 and originally picked at 12
Yes a very pacy kid...3rd rounder tops tho thanks unless they throw in Higgins

It amuses me... no, actually it sh1ts me to tears that when we discuss trading one of our own GOP's... people carry on that they'll tear us a new one with their new club. So don't trade them cause they'll hurt us as their new club magically unlocks their massive upside and unrealized potential.
YET, when another player get's traded to us... they are crap and will remain crap.
What's good for the goose is good for the gander IMO. Maybe a change of club and coach may just bring out his best.
Welcome Ray, and best of luck with the Saints.

The lid is off after Round 2! Enjoy the journey, coz you just don't know where we'll end up. Live for today and seize the moment.

Yep, spot on. Ray has pace, footskills - something we don't have in abundance. Got him relatively cheaply to.WayneJudson42 wrote:It amuses me... no, actually it sh1ts me to tears that when we discuss trading one of our own GOP's... people carry on that they'll tear us a new one with their new club. I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Did we give them pick 31 or the other way around?
