Our sixth biggest win ever!
Yep, in 111 years only five bigger wins (didn't see number 5 in 1950, but I've seen the rest).

F*** it was great....
at around the 50 point mark i was yelling 40 odd to go, we are gonna do this!
bloke next to me was looking skeptical, until it was twenty odd points and he turns to me and goes, how much now?
he's ass was out his seat when all we needed was two more...
10 mins later it was high 5's all round

Take a look at this game 6 years ago this is why I enjoyed it so much - we were in the same predicament- we had no onePersuader wrote:Not raining on any parades, I was/am as excited as anyone.
Best to remember just how injury decimated Essendon was though...esp. when Lloyd couldn't do much after half time.
I guess my point is - we weren't playing much.

We had 6 players from that game yesterday, and they had 3.
Woulda been round 2 cos Dons beat the Roos in round 1 IIRC.StSteven wrote:Geelong beat them by 99 when the Bombers were at their best.....Round 1 I think.matrixcutter wrote:i hate to rain on parades too......
the bombers have been riddled with injury, yes.
but they have been like that for a while now, and who else has beat them by over a tonne recently?
and they booed riewoldts continual marking and when we brought it under 100.Pwoit wrote:Take a look at this game 6 years ago this is why I enjoyed it so much - we were in the same predicament- we had no onePersuader wrote:Not raining on any parades, I was/am as excited as anyone.

My first game at Colonial stadium was in 2000 St Kilda vs Essendon, they beat us by 16 goals or something. Revenge is sweet, we were in the same predicament they are now, even if I did have to wait 8 years for it.
