Nick Says No to Goldcoast
Just caught a bit of a short report on Channel 10 but Nick R said that he would not be going to the Gold Coast except with his Saints team mates (or words to that effect).
"I think, 'You kick a footy mate, you kick a footy. It's not like you've got a cure for cancer. You kick a footy, stop thinking you are so special'." - Samantha Black

Seriously I would clock the next reporter who asked him this question!

Ta Solar, for some reason my three year old did not seem to respect my wishes for silence whilst Nick was speaking !!Solar wrote:"the only reason I'm happy to be up here is because I am with my st kilda team mates"

Really happy he put it like that! If I have him Id have lost the plot by now with those knob reporters. Looks like his patience may approach his tank in its output.Solar wrote:"the only reason I'm happy to be up here is because I am with my st kilda team mates"

If he is so comitted to the club then i wanna see him extent his existing contract by years end and end all speculation.
Thats one way to get these reporters to shut up and show us members that he really wants to be there. Afterall... "the only reason I'm happy to be up here is because I am with my st kilda team mates"

[quote]Lyon, when quizzed about the prospect of losing Riewoldt to the Gold Coast for their 2011 entry to the AFL, said: “I get his contract out once a week and get a jug of water out and pour and it in and it doesn’t leak, so he’s at the Saintsâ€

hamill was a much loved player and well supported on the forums and on the field.
how they turned as his injury turned from weeks to months to years.
same with kouta.
SHOULD be sign him for 6 years and he get a massive injury, they'll be bagging him till teh cows come home.

SHUT UP KRIME!

Just got back from the gold coast and the local paper was full of news of one player only and that was Rooy. They will go big time for him which is fair enough. We have to see how we are travelling then to see whether we should try and keep him at any cost or let him go for great trade picks. To early to tell at the moment.

The heat will be turned up on Roo and the Club but a lot happier with those statements rather than the wishy washy one he made earlier this year. He's ours for now so GC17 have their work cut out, if they do snare him, let's hope we make them pay overs.
