Interesting that they have decided to start Bakes in the seconds. 5 to come out of that side. 4 in the seniors and one emergency to go up there.

They train tomorrow and leave Saturday so they would surely know by then but they still may take up 2. They did last interstate game when they took Geary and Allen.

agreed, it's such a waste because both players lose a game but I remember a game down in tassie where we lost xavier minutes before the match and were lucky a player was down there. Would hate to be one down

Finally named - in a position - not just on the interchange

Are you heading down? Would love to hear how he goes if he gets a full game (according to mightysainters he is struggling for gametime).

Khan Haretuku interests me also. Raw and is playing in the ruck - kicked a few goals a few weeks back and has been in the bests one or two times. Perhaps could spell the end for Luke Van Rheenen if Khan can keep it up.

I think khan playing in the ruck has as much to do with the 2's not having a ruckman, as it does Khan being a young raw talent. But he is definately having a good crack, i'd like to see him given a crack at maybe CHB or CHF, does have a reasonable leap by the looks.

Allen is a Saint too

Nota bad move starting Bakes back at Casey.

He has played very little footy this year......and being Casey if his knee is not quit eright...if it flares it does not matter so much if he has to sit out a quarter or two..

Or that he only plays halfa game as part of coming back. Against the Lions that would handicap the rest of the team too much.

12 man bench.

With the state rep game and a 7 man saints bench, this could be the biggest bench named... ever.

I take it Mini won't be playing for the big V, hopefully Kyle Matthews gets a gig, he was told after the game in an interview he got a spot, and it was news to him (and to me). He's still not named in the side.

I'm not going to the Casey game this week,i'm hoping we get a good review of the games post match by those that did make it to the game....

champ fridman plays for us in forum games and just got signed this year... scroll up.... He is a fair gun and big body... is slowly getting more and more game time and cementing his spot...
They use him as an impact player but soon they'll start playing him more as when he's played hes been one of the best...
Gets it alot considering game time only thing that has let him down is goal kicking he would of had at least 3 a game if his kicking at goal didnt let him down...

Khan is VERY raw struggles alot and really does not stand out in any way shape or form... i'm heading down again for the 1st half then i gotta go and watch my team play... I'll give u a match report on it and will watch Khan closely...

cheers for the support guys,
to those who i dont know, i am not rookie listed or anything like that, saintbrat is just kind enough to bold my name for those that know me through the forum games.
i have seen quite a few of the forumites at our casey matches since ive started playing and its been good to get around to a lot and have a chat!
as for me, im just fighting to keep my spot week in week out... its tough but at the same time its a great experience!
once again would just like to say thanks to all that are on here and are keen on following how i go in the games, i appreciate it!
cheers guys
