No News, Good News or Bad News.

The new Board could be slacking on it or working very hard for the future.
It wouldn't be hard for them, via a report from Archie, to update the Members/Supporters by issuing a statement on what is happening, even if it means telling us very little.

A progress report on sponsorship, Moorabbin redevelopment, player news etc would be handy.

OK here's one. The board would like to announce that they're working very hard to secure some outstanding sponsors and when the appropriate time comes they will make an announcement

Was just thinking how nice it was to have the club out of the headlines after a very difficult 12 months.

Seems like there's finally some on and off-field stablity...hope so.

Hopefully the next bit of news to come from the club is about the drafts. Following on shortly after when optimism is high, we then announce a major sponsor and capitalise on the feel-good factor, and we can all enjoy a Christmas of hope and optimism.

We have been hearing this for weeks, but it does seem quite odd that a new member appears out of nowhere and seems so sure, we have had some experience with this before.

possibly becuase a number of people have heard there will be sponsor naming either next week or the week after.

Armoooo, firstly I am not a new member. The reason I seem so sure is because I know it to be a fact. The reason i wont divulge what I know is because it is in the interests of the Club to announce rather than for you to know.

it is so good to have us out of the media for a while, the last few weeks its been great to see the other clubs as the focus, if it is as it appears then the team behind the scenes are working away... word I have is that there are a few big things coming, and that the new sponsor is a done and they are just waiting to announce..........on top of Misson, Drain etc and a president that appears to be happy not being in the news every 5 minutes I am happy...and we get a scarf, cap and a GF ticket too....

I'm kinda hoping that there aren't any major announcements made on Friday 23 November as it would get buried behind the National Draft and the Federal Election. Wednesday or Thursday would be better !!

hmmm a very busy news week! perhaps wait a week longer or announce mid week before a blitz and have all the new draftees wearing the new sponsors gear

well picked up. A "spidoir" is a french sounding spider. it often appears after a couple of quite ales and the person speaking develops a french accent
