Why? Has he become a bottle blonde and been given a Brownlow that he didn't deserve?saintbrat wrote:Daniel Chick-- wil he become another Woewodin

Shame about Teague, He looked really psomising a few years ago, he was as tough as nails and one of the most courageous players in the league, I guess off field problems must have cost him.
As for Chick, he must have wanted more than he was worth to the eagles...

Re: Delistings- have begun already
I actaully feel somewhat sorry for poeple like Woewodin. He had the potential and ability to play AFL for a few years. Though he is at that awquard age where an up and commer is more valuable than him, and he is getting over the hill, so it's better to put the games into the kid.Life Long Saint wrote:Why? Some new clubs won't touch him because he won't be there in the future, therefore he is left stranded somewhat. Though one could say if he was good enough it wouldnt matter.

teague
I was really impressed with his first couple of seasons then he collapsed in a dungheap of rubbish footy.
I picked him as an absolute gun with his couragious marking and disciplined spoils.
I guess carlton culture got to him in the end.
another 'glen coughlan' one season wonder.
interesting some of the goss regarding chick and the reluctance of some clubs to look at him.

Teague is 26.Teflon wrote:how old is Teague?
Unfortunately Teague is a KPP player stuck in a short mids body. He is too slow for todays modern game. He was allowed to play on this year, knowing that he would not get a game because of the great example he sets amongst the club and what a great leader in the ants he would be to the kids.
If this guy only had half the ability that he had courage he would be a champion.
He still has years left in him, but unfortunately he is a top up player and not a game winner. We need the spots on the list and clearly teague had to go.
FWIW, carlton has had some more delistings (although they haven't been announced as yet)
Kouta, Lappin - Retired
Teague, McLaren, Raso and Flint - Delisted
Young was also dropped from our rookie list - He was our 'mature rookie'

Gardiner and now Chick pay for Bennys indescretions.
No wonder he always has such a smug look on his face.

Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

i read also somewhere else that he's been suffering from guilt and depression over causing someone else pain like that.
i have edited my post which i rarely do, because the original post was in poor taste given what I have subsequently read about him.
cheers

He also 'retired' from AFL. He has had back problems for a while now and he knows he is shot so its a half deliting/retiring with him.Carl Mynott wrote:McLaren is only 196 cm tall,he's not tall enough or good enough at this level to be a ruckman.
