It's true: source = the man himself telling cheersquad members.

Also, what a fantastic way for Fraser to go out, in secret! He really is an enigma.

With out hearing what was said on 3AlwaysWhining i can guess this has come from Scotty Cummings. He has been saying this for most of this season. Maybe it is true but i don't think Rossy has sat down with the big fella (or Banger for that matter) yet to discuss the issue in depth. I wouldn't be going off just yet until the club have had those talks with the players as things can change from what they are now or were when Scotty talked to Frase about it.

Farewell big fella. One of my faves, gone. Go out in style (10 goals). Leaves a massive hole in our playing stocks. Now Gardi must come good to iunleash Kosi into the forward line, as FF. Demolished the eagles there, and we don't really have too many options. May save Brooks ass but. Fergus and him as FF's? Our paper thin forward line just got thinner.

Just waved goodbye to the crowd - he never does that.

Surely all over now.

Fergus Watts, your time is now.

I think we might actually be better off in 2008 without Fraser than with him. Frase has played some very good games this year, but he's also played a lot of poor games. He's slowing down a fair bit and constantly has niggling injuries that would stop any mere human from playing. He has been an outstanding player for 10 years, but I think his style of play would become a liability in 2008.

Hopefully this means Brooks and Watts will both get a chance to prove themseves in 2008.

Kosi's just showing us that we have a ready made replacement.

Thanks for the memories Fraser. One of our best over the past decade.

They should only play AFL games now when it's raining. Slow games of footy are so much better to watch.

What a shame. He deserved to be part of another premiership-winning team, but it wasn't to be.

He's a mad bugger, but the type of charismatic talent that we don't see enough of in this era of run, chip, handball, run, chip, handball, etc.

I suppose he's been worn down by the injuries and can't face another season of running up and down the field playing football a la Swans.

Absolutely: sorry, had 1994 and 1995 around the wrong way in my mind: all I can really ever remember from that era is Gary Ablett Snr hanging his head as he received his loser's medal on GF day: I can never precisely which opponent inflicted the misery on the Cats in which year!!
