Is Barrett sponsored by KFC?
The douche is STILL flogging the "secrets herbs & spices" line.
IF ...
your greatest achievement in a trade period is being the beneficiary of a super-dooper shake of the AFL-applied secret herbs and spices sprinkled over the loss of free agent Josh Battle ...
THEN ...
season 2025 won't be greatly different to 2024, even with Jack Macrae coming in.
Notwithstanding the fact that St Kilda is sponsored by Red Rooster, not KFC, it's beyond bitter and tiresome.
I used to cut Barrett a lot of slack as he'd stood firm during the Essendope saga while others (Slobbo, Ralph) were reduced to full-blown apologists. But he's become just another flog.

His attitude towards our club is pathological. He's the biggest waste of space in the football media. Desperately trying to stay relevant, but is full of shite and pathetically dull and dimwitted. Has zero sense of humour to go with it.

I really don't understand that stupid thing he does on AFL.Com. Is he trying to be funny?
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Barrett is a petty figjam killjoy.
He belittled our "dead rubber" wins in the second half of the season.
I loved our floggings of West Coast, Essendon, Geelong and even Richmond, because it showed that we hadn't given up.

Re: Is Barrett sponsored by KFC?
His nickname apparently is "Purple".
Is that because he is a knob?
Is that because he is a knob?
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

I believe our very own Spud Frawley gave him the nickname one afternoon 12-13 years ago. Barrett turned up to work at Triple M with his hair dyed (but apparently the colour was a bit wrong - it had a purple tinge)
I've been listening to Triple M footy since the mid 1990's. One of their best decisions was to copy the AM stations when they started doing footy broadcasting.
I think the timing is perfect on Saturday at midday for the Triple M banter, because you've got a bunch of blokes who've been up pretty late (with the Friday night game) and then with a lack of sleep and sometimes an interstate flight, mixed with a few too many beers the night before, you have a formula for a lot of laughs... especially with the right personalities.
These days the team on the Saturday Rub still do a pretty good job, but Spud and BT and Garry Lyon were a great team. Very well produced show.

Imagine how cross Barrett is going to be when our "pick 8" turns out to be a 250+ game champion.
He'll have 20 years of sliding door whinges to churn out.

I think he should take an exit. Go back to the Thunderbirds.

He could play the alter-ego of Brains. Introducing an addition to the cast, please welcome, "Damian No Brains."magnifisaint wrote: ↑Fri 25 Oct 2024 12:19pm I think he should take an exit. Go back to the Thunderbirds.
