Re: Chris Toce
That's tragic news.
Condolences to his family.
Condolences to his family.
"...If there has been one recurring theme through this whole shocking mess, it has been the misguided, inflated egos and their ill-judged determination to cling to long-standing old boy friendships. The bad advice that has guided the selfish and culpable James Hird has not only punctuated this saga but symbolised it..."

Terrible news, if true. Any chance you could tell us where you heard about this?

Cancer. Apparently an announcement at RFC site.

Re: Chris Toce
This was very briefly shown on the trade section on the Herald Sun. I suspect it was pulled most likely as family are not aware or it was completely fabricated. I never knew he was unwell
and that's the bottom line

Re: Chris Toce
Vale Chris. Thanks for helping the Saints.
You're decision making will never be forgotten. You were instrumental in getting the ball rolling with our 'proper' rebuild

Re: Chris Toce
This is very sad. RIP indeed.
From memory, his departure from us was very abrupt. I wonder if part of it was needing to reduce his time for health reasons

Re: Chris Toce
Misson and Lyon wanted Simon Dalrymple from the Swans. Simon and SOS working together...so Toce and Roughead had to go.
I think he only found out he was sick after he was appointed at Richmond. Reports are he found out he had an 'aggressive' form of cancer about 4 months ago.

Re: Chris Toce
Toce was a huge part of the rebuild through the draft the last few years and I was upset he left, but this news is devastating. If Richmond wins a flag from this draft, Toce would have played a huge part of it.
