Re: Best and Fairest Predictions
Young Owens finished 5th in 2023, the year we made finals.
He should be aiming for a podium finish next year... or for another 5th, at least.

Hill features in the top 10 instead of Wood..because Hill only missed 1 game for the year. Wood missed 5.

Re: Best and Fairest Predictions
Should have been aiming for that at the start of the year then, his performances aren't a 5th in B&F level.

Re: Best and Fairest Predictions
He was playing as a forward. We were hopeless and Owens game suffered.
In the first half of the year...first 13 Rounds...We averaged under 70 points per game.
Brisbane just kicked 73 pts in the first half of a GF.

Re: Best and Fairest Predictions
Owens played his role very well in at least 10 games in 2024. He wasn't hopeless. He could still finish top 10 this year.

Re: Best and Fairest Predictions
Your 9th is a brave call
Not unrealistic but I think the coaches might engineer a few others to get ahead of him
If Bonner gets in the top 10 there'll be a few meltdowns on here

Re: Best and Fairest Predictions
Well summed up in that the coaches might 'engineer a few others to get ahead of him'
I found it difficult, from the middle on, and resorted to Supercoach rankings which I rate.
He played a few decent games - but yes the coaches may rig/amend some of the votes
