According to some and as confirmed by the coach in his presser..Dow and Keeler.

With Dow being credited with 11 Clearances.

Good to hear Dow played well. I’m guessing he’ll be back in the team against Essendon.

Did Seb Ross not play for Sandy today? Or was he a carry over emergency for the senior match?

No, Schoey was the carried over emergency. Bit of a mystery re Seb. Maybe injured.

Some stats from the match.

"It was a big finish from Isaac Keeler that got Sandringham over the line for a one-point win against Southport on Saturday.

The key forward kicked three goals for the match, including the only two of the final term as the Zebras came back from 35-points down during the third quarter.

Paddy Dow was Sandy's biggest ballwinner with 32 disposals and 11 clearances.

Ben Paton (22 disposals) also kept busy, while ruck duo Tom Campbell (33 hitouts, 19 touches, one goal) and Max Heath (20 hitouts, 19 disposals, six clearances) did their bit to gain control around stoppages.

Veteran defender Zaine Cordy had 20 touches and seven marks,

Matthew Allison's radar was off, kicking 0.4 from 16 disposals, Olli Hotton also finished with 16, as did Angus Hastie.

Category B rookie duo Angus McLennan (15 disposals) and Liam O'Connell (10) continued their development."

It may be that life as a father of very young twins is catching up with Seb Ross

AFL football is a demanding career choice

Interesting that Keeler played forward because I view him as a potential utility player with his height and natural attributes able to be played wherever seeking a mis match

The next question is can Dow add to a midfield where Clark is impacting as he is (still on limited time for self protection)

Then there is Heath

Essendon to me are vulnerable in defence but have height and ability in attack

So Heath comes down to the deployment of Marshall

My expectation would be only forced changes v Essendon

We had them on toast earlier but failed to capitalise allowing them to come back late for one of those losses which have cost us

Trust the Coaching panel and the side chosen

Henry will be missed

Seems to me that on stays alone,

Heath, Keeler and Dow are demanding opportunity

I just watched the highlights. Keeler's 3 goals were impressive. One on a lead and the other two with contested marks.

The role of Bob Murray was played by Matt Allison.

Good that Keeler's education continues with him now being moved forward again.
