What time do they shut the internet off at the lunatic asylum?
Fair dinkum Curly, are you planning to again spam the forum this week with multiple threads about umpiring and AFL conspiracy?
I honestly think you are either taking the piss or actually have a serious mental condition.

Re: The Difference
CURLY has 3 topics he discusses
1. Umpires are cheats
2. AFL are cheats
3. Ryan Byrnes
At the moment Ronnie isn't in the seniors, so he's doubling up on his umpire bashing

The umpires blatantly cheat against us, the AFL is against us, the commentators are on the opposition side, FFS man (or woman or non binary person), how about a semblance of objectiveness, instead of spamming the forum week after week, year after year.CURLY wrote: ↑Sun 30 Jun 2024 5:01pmD.B.Cooper wrote: ↑Sun 30 Jun 2024 4:58pmWhat time do they shut the internet off at the lunatic asylum?

Re: The Difference
Webster deliberately kicking the ball out of bounds from right in front of Port goal
Webster chopping the arms in Port pocket
Higgins not making the distance from a snap from 35m
Steele not making the distance from TWO shots from 50m
BTW in that same contest with Butler front on contact Higgins clearly two arm shepherding Aliir out of the contest (and Aliir marks regardless, how pointless was that)

Let me see Port play blatantly running the ball over for a point.
Higgins chucked into the ground by Alir
Marshall CLEARLY taken high in a ruck contest 15 out from our goal.
The issue is you can’t miss Marshall’s non 50 it’s not 50/50 or soft it’s just 50.
You can’t miss the front on contact on Butler it’s just an easy free.
Technical frees or interpretation are just that.
Those two were blatant

Re: The Difference
The only call that really annoyed me was Battle for HTB. That was BS, and the ump responsible needs a stunt in the VFL.
Otherwise, there were some line ball calls that went both ways. I reckon they evened out. We had every chance to win the game but blew it. As we so often do.

Re: The Difference
I personally agree with Curly on the Marshall 50m. He took the mark, stopped and then was cannoned into the back late and put to ground.
That’s 50m every day of the week in every interpretation.
That would have been a goal from the square and possibly the difference

Re: The Difference
I can’t remember the others specifically but the Butler one with Alir was a shocker and there were a few non holding the balls with Port players in the last that weren’t paid but we copped it consistently on the other end

Re: The Difference
We have been done over by the umpires in both games against Port this year. How do they allow a mark so blatantly short of 15 metres? The inconsistency on holding the ball in the last quarter was unbelievable. I know we could still have won with fewer errors but please just be consistent with the decisions.

Re: The Difference
Saints have a lot of ineffective players. We had 9 players with 10 or less possessions. This includes Dow Winghager and Wilson who are all midfield type players. We are leaving too much to too few.
Some of the over use is out.of the game. But there is too many not doing enough.

Webster kicking the ball out of bounds, also a blatant free kick not paid.
What about the soft free to Marshall for the goal, that gets ignored 99 times out of 100.
Imagine the crack pots Curly and Saynta bleating about the Marshall free if it went the other way?

The blind part maybe correct though, as me thinks ya need a new set of 'gogs' grandpa
You jumping to his defence is not exactly adding credence to Curly's theories.
It's like Ted Bundy suggesting John Wayne Gacy was just a misunderstood guy.
