Hi all,

I’ve created this locked thread as a place to list any noticeable actions that the moderators take beyond general tidying up (e.g. deleting duplicate posts/threads).

This is an attempt to maintain transparency without clogging up/detracting from the discussions in the threads.

If you’d like to discuss any actions or raise other issues in general, please post in the moderator thread I’ve created in the admin forum

I’ll aim to check it everyday (or most days at least)

Some of the banter was passing the line of good natured and with the rest also detracting from the topic which was still being discussed. May I please request we don’t name drop forumites that aren’t involved in the discussion/s.

I understand this avatar thing is/has been a source of tension for some forumites but this isn’t the way to go about something like this.

I’m locking this thread and moving it off the main board. I will follow up privately in this instance

Edits made to the AFLW thread,

It appears that the issue of Dud’s avatar is a source of contention. Opinions have been shared, reports made. I have removed them all off the thread in the interest of not derailing the discussion and will follow up with the forumites involved separately. As an issue this one has been responded to so please continue it on in other threads.
The original thread is in the admin forum and forumites can discuss it there if so inclined

My feeling by and large is that most here would prefer it if the forum steered away from that in general.

Hysteria around Phillipou thread has been moved to the animal enclosure

This thread seems unnecessarily provocative to me. Make threads about the players rather than the behaviours or forumites.

Update - RE forumite NickyDal

I have some concerns RE the nature of some of their contributions to the forum. I’ve repeatedly explained the expectations/boundaries. Admin can decide what they want to do. On my end, I’m just going to remove/delete any inappropriate posts without further updates as it’s becoming a bit onerous.

Together in Electric Dreams!!! Thread moved to Animal Enclosure.

To me the content didn’t warrant starting an actual thread in the main page. A post about songs to listen to after a premiership followed by vids predominantly RE GF loss moments seemed provocative to me.

Now I’m aware that my most recent actions have largely centred around a particular forumite. If anyone would like to check out the thread in the Animal Enclosure, I’d be happy to take feedback there or in the admin forum as to whether I’m off base here.

Locked Darcy Moore and his headphones thread. Went off the rails and removed some posts there too

Lance Collard and RTB's car thread went off topic so some posts were removed.

I’ve locked the thread - Euro-Yroke

Whilst there were semblances of interesting conversation there… it took a dark turn once we got into the justifications/rationalisations/paternalism area. That invoked a very strong response and that’s where the thread was worth stopping following numerous reports.

Pick 3 in the Draft - thread
I removed a further post about Euro-Yuroke as it was not only irrelevant to the topic… but we’ve had 2 separate threads on the topic already.
People have the right to like/dislike whatever but repeatedly bringing up the same contentious to unconnected threads just derails discussions.

Please don’t do that again
