Is this first time we have no retiree?
Every year the list gets refreshed which means we have a few who parts way.
Do we have any potential retiree this year or will be only forced clean up?

Campbell for sure, due to his age and lack of flexibility.
Maybe McKenzie and Jones to, due to injuries that they can't seem to get over.

Saintmike suggested Webster may retire.

Well that would be plain silly, wouldn't it. Unless he is suffering from a career-ending injury, which means he wouldn't be playing now.

Still time. Zak Jones would have to consider it. Dan McKenzie would have to consider it. But retirements or not, there are going to be some list changes. Maybe not wholesale burnoff but a few will be let go into the wind.

It actually wouldn’t surprise if Campbell stays
Seems very well liked by the coaching group, performing well at Sandy and by all accounts is a good leader/mentor down there.
He might actually be a classic, proper depth player and leader of the club that is primarily suited to level below AFL

Coaches outside of the soft cap on the playing list - it will be the next thing.skeptic wrote: ↑Mon 28 Aug 2023 2:23pm It actually wouldn’t surprise if Campbell stays

They'll also try and sell it as "veteran supplementary list" like they did a while back with the rookie list.
