I’m thinking Paton straight in for Webster and then it’s a battle for sub.
Pbly between Coops and Campbell

Re: Sandringham v Essendon VFL
Bytel and Highmore too good for VFL
Campbell monsters it because of his size but it’s his level
Ollie Lowe can play
Sharman is average - slow

So far 11 disposals 2 goals 5 tackles, looks quick, but is small has to fully commit his body to tackles to stop his opponent (perhaps not a bad thing) not sure how he would cope with the stronger bigger bodies in the afl.

Footskills are young Peris’s weakness,, tidy that up & he’ll debut at some stage.
He was very prominent in match sim on Thursday!

Re: Sandringham v Essendon VFL
Big win.
19.12 126 to 14.5 89
Heath 5 goals and 23 ho, Peris 3 goals
Bytel 34 possessions, Campbell 20 possessions and 37 ho
Bytel certainty to come into the seniors next week.
I would love to see Heath come in for Cordy who only had one possession yesterday. But doubt that RTB would drop Cordy who he always mentions at any opportunity.

Re: Sandringham v Essendon VFL
Bytel and Highmore are the only players who are ready for AFL, the rest are way off the pace and unpickable.
Lyon has reminded us a few times already with media comments that you play the way you train, so I can't see Sharman playing in defence for Sandy and then being selected by Lyon to play in a forward line, that would be completely contradictory to his firmest of coaching beliefs. In any case he played quite average too so that won't help, as well as I recon he's too bruise free for Lyon's liking.
And unfortunately I can't see Campbell playing at AFL level.
Zero tall stocks left.
BUT!, if Cordy doesn't come up then watch out.

Re: Sandringham v Essendon VFL
Campbell only played the last round for us in 2022 and looked quire comfortable through my eyes as an AFL-standard ruckman. The club recruited him for a back-up role and, with more than 70 AFL matches under his belt, fills that role when / if needed.
Bytel is an automatic in. He was very good agains Freemantle until injured.
