Votes v Dogs
Brilliant team effort.
Every player put in, so apologies for those not listed below.
5. Jack Sinclair. The general in defence. Only made one error all night.
3. Jack Steele. Looked injured at the end, but for three quarters was dominant.
2. Mason Wood.
2. Rowan Marshall.
1. Brad Hill.
1. Brad Crouch .
1, Mich Owens- the best of the teenagers, but all of them were great .

Re: Votes v Dogs
Warning! Warning! to Sainter_Dad - I feel another team effort vote coming on. Certainly, I couldn't see that the best player was five times better than the fifth best, or that the fifth best was infinitely better than the 6th.

Re: Votes v Dogs
5. Steele - best player all day. Lead from the front
4. Sinclair - fantastic. Simply fantastic
3. Wood - Damaging. A match winner
2. Paton - subtle performance. Stands out more on replay
1. Phillipou - Made it happen when it mattered
Apologies - hated to miss Owens but his misses riled me a touch… will be elite if he fixes his kicking at goal
Ross - welcome back picking up where he left off in 2022.
Crouch - 26 touches and NINE tackles
4. Sinclair - fantastic. Simply fantastic

I'm passing on giving votes tonight. It's too damn hard because we have too many valid choices!

Re: Votes v Dogs
Very hard to pick this week.
5. Crouch. Inside ball winner, quick hands, 9 tackles.
4. Wood. A chance at the Trevor Barker medal this year
3. Sinclair. In it when it got tough
2. Owens. Hit the scoreboard and involved in more.
1. Steele. Classic captains knock. Injured and pushed through.

Re: Votes v Dogs
I never vote..
But for my reservations about Mason Wood, they are almost gone. He was great. Fantastic.
Typical that no one votes for Hill, but I thought he was good, despite a few kicks that ended up in oppo marks.
I also rate Ross's game, even though few will pay say ..
The big stars were Sincs and the teens..and the teens were fantastic.
Windy should have played and Byrnes the sub, but who knew?
Brilliant Saints.
Watch out for the media nonsense. As I know we all do..still, the producers on Fox told 'em all to gush about Ross Lyon. hideous. And likely to backfire like pissing out of a car window, but never mind...not for now.
Brilliant.
I am gonna watch Saints TV and Jakey now.

Thought he was better last week than this week. But a huge team player this year, brings the boys into it and the team is better for it.shanegrambeau wrote: ↑Sat 25 Mar 2023 10:56pm Typical that no one votes for Hill, but I thought he was good, despite a few kicks that ended up in oppo marks.

I really don't care if you give 15 x 1 - that is the least concerning voting system - 1 x 15 gets ignored!perfectionist wrote: ↑Sat 25 Mar 2023 10:25pm Warning! Re: Votes v Dogs
1 Ross Lyon
1 Cory Enright
2 Robert Harvey two votes because he is Harvey
1 Lenny Hayes
A full defence game across the whole Ground
I Honestly didn’t think we would win but went anyway very happy I did!

Steele
Crouch
Pou
Owens
NWM
Really solid effort from the backline, and great overall team effort. The work rate has been phenomenal
Marshall, Gresh, Hill, Clark, Sinclair and Wood and Paton and Seb Ross were all running around offering an option up until the last siren
Caminiti took 9 marks. Wow!!
I thought Pou was inspirational (and what a talent), Owens is the Hulk, and NWM is starting to be a surgeon with his kicking

Re: Votes v Dogs
I was tempted to put about 10 players into the votes but I really thought our midfielder leaders deserved recognition this week.Sainter_Dad wrote: ↑Sun 26 Mar 2023 7:04amI really don't care if you give 15 x 1 - that is the least concerning voting system - 1 x 15 gets ignored!perfectionist wrote: ↑Sat 25 Mar 2023 10:25pm Warning!
