Re: If Steven Baker
Don't often agree with BM but this time I do.
Pickett''s launch at the WB player was one of the most dangerous acts I've seen on a football field. It may well have been only a cm or 2 away from causing a catastrophic injury.
The AFL needs to come down heavy on this to stamp it out so nobody is foolish enough to attempt it again.
As for Adelaide's McAdam - he deserves a stiff penalty for his action.

Why did you feel the need to write the first line?!
Who cares if you agree with me??

I loved Steven Baker but he is definitely a CTE candidate. No rule change can prevent this stuff but it will reduce the frequencies

It will be fascinating to see how Long's indiscretions get rated by the MRP and posters on here now he is wearing a different jumper.

Re: If Steven Baker
If Bailey Smith stayed down Pickett would have been looking at minimum 4 to 6 easy
To think that Picketts act was worth the same suspension as when Sam Day stepped into the path of Paddy Ryder who was standing his ground at the moment of impact
Just boggles the mind

If I recall correctly Bakes got done for something that nobody saw and there was no evidence.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Re: If Steven Baker
The argument at the time was that they were sprinting forward and Bakes stopped suddenly and pushed/bumped back into with Farmer who ran into him.happy feet wrote: ↑Mon 20 Mar 2023 6:22pmIf I recall correctly Bakes got done for something that nobody saw and there was no evidence.
It was suggested here afterwards that the club didn’t push the issue because Bakes was reported to say words to the effect of… if anybody actually saw what he did, he would have gotten longer

Farmer was a dirty player. When bakes propped and farmer went down most believed bakes should be given a medal

How do you find time for knitting given the time you spend at ballet lessons?Vortex wrote: ↑Tue 21 Mar 2023 9:55amHow could I Firey, knitting going well, Beryl showed me how to do the slip stich which I'm practicing on your new saints scarf, it's great for embroidering names, do you prefer Firey, or Captain Firey? The Fireman wrote: ↑Tue 21 Mar 2023 9:41amglad you dont gloss over my posts, hows the knitting coming along ?

Re: If Steven Baker
I had to retire from professional ballet after a grand jeté went horribly wrong so heaps of time to practice knitting these days.happy feet wrote: ↑Tue 21 Mar 2023 7:16pmHow do you find time for knitting given the time you spend at ballet lessons?Vortex wrote: ↑Tue 21 Mar 2023 9:55amHow could I Firey, knitting going well, Beryl showed me how to do the slip stich which I'm practicing on your new saints scarf, it's great for embroidering names, do you prefer Firey, or Captain Firey? The Fireman wrote: ↑Tue 21 Mar 2023 9:41amglad you dont gloss over my posts, hows the knitting coming along ?
