Re: DFAs
On pure ability Stack is a terrific player and would be a good replacement for Ben Long..in fact an upgrade to Ben.
The problem is the risk involved regarding his behaviour issues.

Re: DFAs
Who would you be interested in?
Stack has real talent as does Narkle, but they have been delisted by clubs far better that is who seem to have lost patience with them.
I’d still like to look at McAsey as a train on player.

Re: DFAs
Tony mentioned that we were going to pick up a delisted midfielder.
I thought it might be Jed Anderson.

Re: DFAs
Curly mentioned a couple of weeks ago we were interested in a delisted free agent midfielder, although that might have changed.

Re: DFAs
No to both. Stack would be good but as other posters have mentioned, his attitude is not up to AFL level. He'll need to go back to state league and prove that he can get his house in order like Stengle did. Aarts is a no from what I've seen but he does have heavy Rob Eddy vibes so you never know!

Anyone know how Mr Eddy is, thought I heard the long arm of the law were officially interested in his doings?outside66 wrote: ↑Fri 04 Nov 2022 11:49am No to both. Re: DFAs
As a DFA I think why not Sydney Stack? Change of club and coaches may well get him to settle down and produce his best. Would have a great mentor in Bradley Hill.
He's only 22 and had a brilliant start to his career in 2019, potentially a vast upgrade to Ben Long.
Quite like Liam Stocker as well but unlikely if the club continues to prioritise new blood....

Re: DFAs
I thought we were after a KPF and a KPB we got one with 6 list spots still available and at least 3 drafted we could pick up a midfielder as well a KPF.
As much as I like Hayes as we have seen when he went down the pressure went back on King so we need a player who can come into that roll and put pressure on players in the 22 makes for a much harder edge to the team, exactly what was lacking.

Re: DFAs
I think this lad (Riley Collier-Dawkins) fits the age and midfield profile we are chasing -

Re: DFAs
I read somewhere that Ross said he thought Collier-Dawkins was the best of the delisted free agents…this was before we got him as coach & before Stack was delisted.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Fri 04 Nov 2022 6:47pm I think this lad (Riley Collier-Dawkins) fits the age and midfield profile we are chasing -

Happy for you to enlighten us Martin.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.
