I'm going for a wild guess.
He'll do some really impressive stuff in the first quarter, really making folks sit up and take notice...

The quarter-time break will see his muscles cool down too much, then when the ball is bounced and he launches into a run, his calf or hammy will ping.
I really hope I'm wrong

yeah, but even if he is still available in the 4th, he'll have bench time. How much game time - as is, on the game side of the boundary?

Hanners has already played out the last few games of each season.

I’d be surprised if he misses any games and will play the Elimination Final.

50 minutes on field

As ex-president Peter Summers said:

Bonus question…

Will there be a “See he was worth it all along” post?

If so, who and when?

f****** typical and oh so foreseeable.

Why can't you be just glad for Hanners that all his hard work to get to where he is has been rewarded ?

Hanna's will do what he's done in all of the 15 odd games he's played for us , he won't be our best player , he won't be our worst player , he'll do some really nice things that will show why he's a quality player . however how long his ageing legs lasts will be up to the gods .
Hopefully he plays out the season.

I wish Dan well, naturally. Will watch with interest who Mitchell plays off him. Will Sam really test his legs to breaking with a runner or have the coaches already told Dan he can handover at any time?
No doubt Dan will look competent. I wonder what knock on impact he will have on how/who others defend.
Ratts pointed out Dan's voice and presence will be important, but you can't talk goals can you? Maybe.
Anyway hope we win, its nice and gives that glimmer.
I would have played Bytel and saved Dan for Geelong, smaller ground. But as Sgt Shultz might say.." I know nothing, nothing..."
And if Jack the By is going should we not fatten him for market (I really want him to stay but, learn from Crouch then take over). Excuse digression.

There was a Brisbane ruckman… I think Keating. Only got up for the finals. Would usually be injured for the rest of the year.

Bytel is not yet match fit.

I find the tone of the thread disgusting and highly derogatory of a StKilda player.

Don't worry ...if Hannas can stay on the field, play a decent game - which we would all love - there will be a flurry of posts about...

'Oh..where are they now? "

"All the ney sayers...gone silent have they?? type..lol"

Fair dinkum...we are entitled to have a laugh...Dan has been a (red and) white elephant disaster of epic proportions..aand there should be no hiding that, or shaming people for trying to have a laugh.

Some people wanna move their bones and make moral statements - and then preach the holy holies.

Of course we are all excited to see him and the Saints play tomorrow.

If he makes it past the warm up...lol

Or doesn't fall down the stairs at Marvel.
