Re: Steele Out 8 to 10 weeks
Give him 8-10 weeks - a mini pre season - and have him primed for our assault on September

Re: Steele Out 8 to 10 weeks
Just saw this:
TOM BROWNE Tweet
Saints injury blow
Jack Steele will have surgery tomorrow on his ac joint.
Unfortunately will miss 6-8 weeks.
Very gutsy to play on.
I’ll have more on @7AFL at 2:50pm, and

Re: Steele Out 8 to 10 weeks
Crude tackle by Kolostomy Bag but that’s something we lack - tackle to hurt

Re: Steele Out 8 to 10 weeks
Devastating news but how much courage does the Captain have, I mean seriously to play a half of footy with an AC so our rotations weren't effected is more than just inspiring. What a leader.

Re: Steele Out 8 to 10 weeks
Faaark that's rotten luck. It would be nice to once go through a season without losing key players for considerable periods.
Oh well I guess it gives players like Clark, Owens or Bytel a chance to shine. Perhaps they move Sinclair into the midfield and Clark onto his flank.

Wishing Jack a full and quick recovery.
Ryan Byrnes will get his chance now.
Clark would be returning next week anyway.

Re: Steele Out 8 to 10 weeks
Put his full weight onto Steele with a view to injure. Pretty gutless imo.

Re: Steele Out 8 to 10 weeks
Hanners must be due to return...
Just joking!
Bytel, Clark & Owens are ready to step in.
Never good losing someone as good as Captain Jack but an opportunity for the above.
I suspect Steele to turn that 6-8 into 3-4 and have to be held back.

Re: Steele Out 8 to 10 weeks
Dangerous tackle, intent to injure
Give Kolostomy Bag 13 matches,
and then 3 matches for Higgins
That should finish his season.

When Ben Long tackles to hurt that’s good football.
