In a previous thread someone asked Jack Hayes role - and then this

LOL - I hereby recuse myself from applying for the position of Board Moderator - the lack of Capital letters for players names would be a paddling (lol)

Re: Coffield - Suspected ACL
Injuries are an unwanted part of footy but also unavoidable.
Terrible news for young Nick. He will be devastated. But if it is an ACL, then he must move on from this and give 100 percent focus to his rehab.
I'm sure the club and the players will be totally supportive.
Heartbreaking also for those of us who wanted to see NC have a breakout season.

Re: Coffield - Suspected ACL
I suppose it’s just bad luck but I’m starting to seriously wonder what the guys are doing with match simulations at training.
We seem to be having a fair few really serious injuries every off-season as of late.
Hope the instruction isn’t attack every contest like your life depends on it like you would in a final.
How many impact injuries can you get!
Sigh… disappointed for the kid

I would say an ACL is more than likely and non-impact injury.skeptic wrote: ↑Fri 04 Feb 2022 3:01pm I suppose it’s just bad luck but I’m starting to seriously wonder what the guys are doing with match simulations at training.

Could also happen just doing drills.
Terrible luck for him.

Re: Coffield - Suspected ACL
Risk of injury is part of sport, and many an ACL injury involves no contact.
Hopefully just a clean ACL and minimal or no meniscus damage for the longer term.
