Robert Harvey
Must be wondering what he has to do to get a senior coaching gig... all past evidence suggests those who make those decisions don't rate him. Who'd like to see him back at the club coaching the VFL side or in a development role? I personally rate him in development: teaching work ethic and skill to Byrnes, Connolly, Gresh, Paton, etc.

Some people are not cut out to be the number one banana however they are really good at being number 2 banana.
That's my takeaway from the cheap seats.

Re: Robert Harvey
If Harvey comes now, it places great pressure on Ratten and the whole football department. I dont think the club will do a Ratten on Ratten with Harvey.
However, if Ratten wants Harvey, he may just reach out.

Re: Robert Harvey
If Ratts was to reach out and ask Harvs to come and be his 2nd Banana then that would be a really good thing.
Getting family back together.
It wouldn't surprise me if Ratts wanted that to happen. He's massive on family and he strikes me as not being the insecure type so wouldn't feel threatened by Harvs.
Another hunch from the cheap seats.

Re: Robert Harvey
That's Harvey and Kingsley who may be deemed not quite good enough for the main gig.
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Harvey has left Collingwood, allegedly with a plan to join Ross Lyon at Carlton.

Re: Robert Harvey
Anyone thinking about joining Rattts at the Saints has to consider whether Ratts will even be there in 2023. That's the Clarko effect, which will hang over a lot of clubs in 2022.
