Likely game time change
Ol' mate Kane Cornes just interviewed Jack Steele on his show. Apparently our game is now likely to be shifted from tomorrow night to either a day time or twilight start time (something to do with accommodating Port's travel schedule)
Regardless, Go you mighty Saints!

Re: Likely game time change
f*** me, they are also talking about shifting the game to Adelaide.

'The league is working through government protocols about isolation as it assesses whether the Power can still fly into Melbourne on Saturday.
The game is slated for 7.25pm but the Herald Sun understands it is likely to be turned into an earlier fixture in either the 1.45pm or 4.35pm slot.
It would allow St Kilda to fly into Adelaide and out on the same day, or the Power to fly into Melbourne and get out by the Saturday night Adelaide Airport curfew."

It would be a massive advantage to Port if they do & knowing our luck it would not surprise me if they did .saynta wrote: ↑Fri 16 Jul 2021 1:11pm f*** me, they are also talking about shifting the game to Adelaide.

Tom Browne reporting on Twitter that the potential move to Adelaide which was on the cards at one stage is no longer on the radar (thanks goodness).
foxsports reporting that we will play Port at 1:45 then jump straight on a plane to Perth after the game to quarantine for a week.

Re: Likely game time change
I think the AFL have also looked forward , as well as $$$ , and said ok, Stkilda play WC somewhere next week, unlikely to be Perth even with our lockdown finished then 2 games in Vic so dont have to fork out $$$ in flights and accom - Port already due to fly and now save on Accom.
My guess will be WC in Adelaide next week as quickdraw McGowan will shut up shop again.

Can’t see us flying to Perth on Saturday night or Sunday as WA has closed the borders.

Police Commissioner on the news said everyone wanting to come in after midnight needs to apply for a new G2G pass.
Normal folk- it's a gamble whether it gets approved. Then 14 day quar.
Footy teams have always gotten the exemption.
Not just that, but our guys aren't doing 14, they're allowed to do a 7 day quar.
Go figure

AFL App still says 5:35 pm my time (7:35 AEST)
Bookies still no odds at all

Re: Likely game time change
Foxfooty just confirmed 1.35 start tomorrow with St Kilda heading to Perth straight afterwards....but still nothing on AFL website!
"Any candidate for political office, once chosen for leadership, must have the will to take the wheel of a very powerful car, tasked from time to time to make a fast journey down a narrow, precipitous mountain road – and be highly skilled at driving. Otherwise, he is disqualified from the company of competent leaders."
