I have no idea what he said and I don't want to know.
Lyon is a waste of space.

Is he sticking up for a saint player or sticking up for his good Mate Tim Watson's nephew?

At least it makes a pleasant change from him sticking up for a mate's ex wife!

That's almost the nadir of pathetic. So bad even Lyon feels sorry for us.

Come on Linton St, give something, what would Alan Jeans do?

Exaclty right, Tim is not going to say anything as it is his nephew and he has a long running history with Caroline Wilson, so he has just fed Lyon with his family's view on the matter and let Garry Lyon take centre stage.

Who in St Kilda management leaked to Wilson in the first place. That person should be sacked.

This isn't sticking up for St Kilda or its players.

He's using it as a stick to beat Caro with, and to claim the moral high ground - that is his only motivation.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Bang!

Fully agree Everton.

For my part (and I don’t necessarily suggest you’d agree)

I personall6, Lost a lot of respect for Lyon and Watson and Jordan Lewis and a whole cadre of them, this week.

St Kilda is hurting. Lethlean tried to be honest..but the wolves are circling…it doesn’t take much for things to spiral out of control. Look at Collingwood.

How we can unite the players to a common cause now I don’t know, perhaps it’s never been as relevant as I imagined.

Funnily, my respect for Caro and Cornes went up a notch!,

Lyon goes into hack territory for me…too be honest I do respect him…but less, and about time. players ‘fraternity’ bs..and all their rhetoric..

You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!

Yeah, look, when you drill into what they were saying, I wasn't as offended as some.

I can see both sides of it. I'm glad we permitted Ross to have the time off and the club should have ticked it off. With that said, I'm very much in the Ross Lyon camp on this issue: this is stuff you need to plan for and work out contingencies for way in advance.

This wasn't a cut-and-dried issue either way. It's a difficult one. I see both sides of it and judge neither at either end of the opinion spectrum.
