Lot of Tiggy Touchwood stuff from the umpire. When will they learn to be seen and not heard?

Bloody injuries again. Frawley wont be playing round 1 after pinging a hammy.
Boys were very lose in defence Carlton kicked 4 goals from stoppages, should not happen.

Really like the look of Tommy Highmore, seen enough already to know we've found a beauty

Paul Hunter hasn't take many marks but he's got really good hands for a big guy - could be handy

Raining goals.
We've gone back to GT football ... leaky defences and lots of goals.
Attack, attack, attack ,,, tora, tora, tora.

Re: Saints v Blues
Should have been 6-7 goals up.
Can a team play with too much flair?
We’re playing like millionaires at times
We look slick when it comes off but gotta keep doing the basics

Ah dang, I forgot this was on!
Anyone have a quick breakdown of the first half? Who’s looking good / bad?
I’m liking the accuracy!

Re: Saints v Blues
So long as we outscore our opponents ... but, yes, would be nice to be able to tighten up a bit down back.
I hope they haven’t gone overboard with the new rules, which are aimed at encouraging scoring. Ideally, goals are neither too easy nor too hard to kick.

Re: Saints v Blues
First half thoughts:
- We finally get how to use Hill's attributes.
- Hunter is a serviceable backup ruckman.
- Webster is back. HIs kicking penetration from half back is important.
- Billings is at a turning point this year.
- Sinclair may be this years bolter.
- Seb Ross will be Geary's replacement.
- Higgins rotating through the midfield is a good option.
- Not yet impressed with Crouch's output.
- Long bombs to King don't work for him, but end up working for the team.
- Butler/Higgins/Lonie/Gresham will test teams for small defender depth.
- Long as a lockdown player is not looking likely.
- McKernan vs Wood is a good selection decision to have.

Another tick for the recruiting team. If these new SA recruits come good, Chris Toce deserves a pay risesilverhalo wrote: ↑Thu 04 Mar 2021 8:20pm Really like the look of Tommy Highmore, seen enough already to know we've found a beauty

Re: Saints v Blues
The Gresham / Higgins / Billings / Butler / Lonie mid-forward combos look absolutely frightening for the opposition
We look damn quick - some breathless stuff

Others will return - Hannebury, Jones, maybe even Marshall.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Thu 04 Mar 2021 7:53pm Bloody injuries again. Frawley wont be playing round 1 after pinging a hammy.

Carlisle can fill the position Frawley played tonight.
