King Kong gaff was him being a dick..trying to be cute...ironic...he was being way too clever for the audience. Should have known...a disaster, and yes, that is the price.. He would not be forgiven, other than by insiders.

Cancel culture is just another cute term, no doubt used by horrible types sometimes, but it is also a dark fact of life now.

Lumumba refused to be appeased and look what has happened, some genuine change rather than window dressing and spin.

He won't be well liked, but someone had to unreasonable enough to withstand all the carrots and sticks sent his way.

It is a great credit to him that he held his ground.

Eddie could have apologized but chose to spin the narrative each time....the "proud day for Collingwood " finally broke through the threshold of tolerance for enough people that he has to go.

It will take him another 5 years before he realizes he is actually in the wrong and needs to say sorry.
