Membership Upgrades
Both Sainter_Boy and myself have been offered a thank you for supporting this year from the club - we have both been offered an upgrade from Home games to H&A (not sure if the A games come with the reserved seats) or a Home Games General Membership for a friend.
Is this the same offer for everyone?

Re: Membership Upgrades
I was offered something called a 'Saints Pass' which even after reading about I'm not that much the wiser.
Is that the same as you, SD?
I want a bloody jumper or 100 dollar voucher. It's my tenth year as a member.

Re: Membership Upgrades
The wording on mine is access to away games.
It also says the upgrade is non-negotiable.

Guest pass - ie 1 game - you use the guest passes on that day - lol! (however, your tickets are probably not transferable)mr six o'clock wrote: ↑Tue 20 Oct 2020 9:16pm My upgrade includes 2 free level two guest passes with better seats than mine

Re: Membership Upgrades
Since the late 90s there has been a cap on Social club memberships because of the promise that if StKilda make the grand final you will be guaranteed a ticket , with these upgrades have we still got that guarantee?? Or as a 30yr Social club member do I go in too the hat with someone who has never been a Social club member but because of a upgrade will became one next yr

Re: Membership Upgrades
I joined the Social Club 42 years ago.mcadam05 wrote: ↑Tue 20 Oct 2020 9:52pm Since the late 90s there has been a cap on Social club memberships because of the promise that if StKilda make the grand final you will be guaranteed a ticket , with these upgrades have we still got that guarantee?? This is now primarily entry to Victory Room or Saints Club depending on what level you have access to. (Squash Courts etc have long gone!)
With Grand Final Access it was tied to SC Membership. They then briefly brought in Foundation Membership meaning that if you signed up by a certain date and maintained SC Membership that you were meant to be permanently in the first tier of GF Ticket access. People joining after that period were not guaranteed access , or were placed in a tier 2.
That Foundation status disappeared one year when on checking my ticket found that the club had moved my family (all long term SC Members) to the second tier of GF access (which means possibly standing room tickets). Evidently they were now tying GF access to different membership packages (particular reserved seats on particular levels) and were not recognising at that time the Foundation Status.
So I reminded them of their guarantee and had the wording on our tickets all changed to have Ultimate on them rather than the other category (forgot what its was now).
On the website there does not seem to be any mention of tiering of GF access and so I do not know what the Club's current position on it is.
Certainly for myself one reason to hang on SC Membership (and I am not even sure it is an option any more for all Membership Types) was the preferential GF Ticket access for SC Members. If it has disappeared again I will be calling the club again to remind them of their past commitment.

Re: Membership Upgrades
I use my Melbourne Cricket Club membership to purchase Level 2 Gold Reserve seating in the "Centre Wing members' area" at Marvel Stadium for home and away matches.
Hence my St Kilda H&A membership is really a donation.
The upgrade for simple H&A membership is a level 1 reserved bay.
I won't be using that but I will have the knowledge that I have a better view of the game than most.

Re: Membership Upgrades
I am on Level 2 now, but I used to have a reserved seat on Level 1 with Victory Room Access. It was during this period that the club removed my Tier 1 GF guaranteed access and bumped it down with no communication to the Tier 2 access (ie This group gets access to the GF allocation after Tier 1 has advised what they wish to take up). So I had it re-instated. After Tier 1 and 2 if any tickets are left it then goes to Memberships who do not have priority GF access as a benefit.Trev from the Bush wrote: ↑Fri 23 Oct 2020 10:14am Just checked my emails. Note:
I do not actually know what the 2021 system is. ie is it still Tier 1 and 2, or just Tier one only.
If a single Tier I would not be happy as that would possibly mean that the random access would include standing room, when initially it did not.
Note to that with GF Tickets that before allocating to SC/ Ultimate that the club takes tickets off the top for a number of purposes- Coterie Groups, Sponsors, Marketing (including to sell as part of expensive packages), Players,
