Re: Brad Hill
Not sure what to make of Hill as a player but tonight he seemed to want to stay outside of the contest for the most part.
Would have done just as well being outside of the ground.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

Re: Brad Hill
What about how to use the pill better, that would be a bigger gain.

Re: Brad Hill
His good is exceptional.
His worst is putrid and it looks putrid.
I think we can and will use him better.

Re: Brad Hill
I’m a huge fan of Hill (my ex is a Dawks supporter and I’ve watched a lot of him) but, tonight he had a poor game. But he was terrific the two weeks prior.
Of all our new players - he’s the one who’s had the hardest time being used properly in our game plan. He’s a bona fide proper wingman who excels at the end of quarters and matches - he’s still running at the same pace and intensity in the last min as first.
He’s the one with another pre-season of training our game plan that will make us seriously good. Especially at Marvel.

Re: Brad Hill
Not just him that wasn't used well ... The ball players were pressured, several times players were loose on the other side but we couldn't get it over and release the run.
This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.

All of them, they make it harder for themselves with poor skills. The Barometer wrote: ↑Fri 09 Oct 2020 11:42pmHill or the team generally?

Re: Brad Hill
Poor game tonight,he just seems to me a much better player when our mids are on top or are at least breaking even.We need his run and foot skills, but dont expect him to pick up the side when we arent playing well
Frontrunner....Yes
Do we need him....Yes

Re: Brad Hill
Yeah its the whole package.
Hill is one shocking contested ball player though.
Awesome athlete and user by foot, but by god he is horrendous in a contest.

Re: Brad Hill
He is never going to bust a pack and that’s not his go
Would love to see a little more courage in how how he throws his body into a tackle....
But that said.... he’s an outside running machine who I agree we’ll use him better over time
Disposal is normally great
I was more disappointed with midfield clearance tonight.....and the coach has mentioned it 3 times since the game ...15-5 difference...

Yeah and usually it is our bread and butter.
Lots of areas we can improve.

They kicked 52 points to our 9 from stoppages tonight.
That’s nothing short of an absolute slaughter.

Re: Brad Hill
Here's how Hill's game was rated, he was given 2 out of 10.
Too often the Saints’ biggest trade acquisition has gone missing this season. And when his team needed him the most, Hill had one of his worst offensive games for 2020. Collingwood great Tony Shaw told 3AW Football: “I look at Bradley Hill - he is not physical at all in this game. He has not tackled. He has not had a mark. When the pressure is on, you have to sometimes go and find your own ball.” Manned up by Marlion Pickett on a wing at the first centre bounce. Just one touch in the second term. Finished with only 11 disposals — his third-lowest tally of the season — and his lowest metres gained tally in eight rounds. Rated a 2
