Re: The Essendon exodus
It would be disgraceful if they didn't let Daniher go - he's clearly had a gutful and wants (and probably deserves) a fresh start. Madness too if they get pick 7 as compo.

Watch Hooker and Hurley closely.

It brings tears to my eyes..........from pissing my self laughing. Couldn't happen to a better club or bunch of supporters. Their never ending arrogance is their undoing

Jake and Paddy jumped ship at Queenstown before the Titanic set sail for New York. Both of them are smiling now!

Re: The Essendon exodus
I’m not proud of myself and have never done any other trolling but 2 days ago I opened an account on bomber blitz and trolling them as a fake supporter. My god it’s funny. Actually f*** it I am proud of myself. I hate them because of the drug saga that ruined football/talkback radio for two years. Where’s the smoking gun that was meant to clear them? f*** I hate them. I’ve got to go now, I might ask them when “we” are going to reveal our smoking gun

It’s been a good week for Schadenfreude. West Coast losing an elimination final by a point at home, <edited by mods>and Essendon falling apart. What’s next?

Most arrogant supporter base in the league. Some of them wear the drug scandal like a badge of honour.
They are a complete mess and Karma is such a wonderful thing.
I'm cooking more popcorn.

Re: The Essendon exodus
Collingwood in a pickle.
Collingwood has refused to produce a clash strip for 20 years.
They have a fake away strip that is black stripes on white instead of white stripes on black.
Can you spot the difference.
Geelong is the home team is this Saturday so get to wear their home strip and dark shorts.
Geelong and Collingwood colours clash even if the stripes and hoops are in opposite directions.
Socks look so similar.
Eddie is already in an uproar that Geelong are refusing to go almost all white.
How dare Geelong, Collingwood as the away team surely has priority rights to the dark strip, they are Collingwood.
The AFL need to create a clash strip for Collingwood 90% white, 10% black pin stripe, white pants with maybe a narrow black stripe at the side and white socks.
Wear it or start losing first round draft picks Eddie.
AFL gets some balls.

Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

Re: The Essendon exodus
I also forgot to say on my previous post, that an acquaintance who is a typical Essendon supporter will not stop banging on about Hird coming back and being the messiah. It got the better of me....I asked him what it was with the Cult of Hird? He just sat there with a stupid look on his face. When I reminded him about Hird's involvement in the Drug (not supplements as the media use) use scandal he goes right off the deep end....nothing ever proven, we will get our day in court etc, etc, etc,
What is it with the Cult of Hird?

Re: The Essendon exodus
Of all the things in the league I find the Collingwood insistence on not having a second strip one of the most galling. Makes the league look like some provincial kick around or a tin pot dictatorship.ace wrote: ↑Thu 08 Oct 2020 12:44amCollingwood in a pickle.

Every single team in European football has three strips. Real Madrid doesn't complain when they can't wear their famous White yet somehow their 'brand' survives in the meantime. What a joke.
If Geelong is good for anything maybe with their clout they'll be able to force the issue and end this utter embarrassment for the game once and for all.
WEAR A SECOND STRIP YOU BASTARDS.

Don’t forget that the Bummers refused for a time to have a second strip. Some waffle about ‘our jersey is too famous to not have a red stripe’ or similar rubbish. Cheating maggots

Re: The Essendon exodus
Actually they do have a clash strip and have had for years just that there is only a slight difference from their normal jumper (colours inverted). They should be made to create a proper clash jumper.roskilde wrote: ↑Thu 08 Oct 2020 1:55pm

And they change their jumper for indigenous rnd every year , and have changed multiple times over the years so they just need to get off it and play ball with the rest of the teams.

Re: The Essendon exodus
What are the odds that sometime within the next 2-3 years Essendon will attempt to rort (cheat) the system?

I hope they are enjoying being up at Tullamarine like the Hawks will at Dingley, like we did at Seaford.
You're quite brilliant Shane, yeah..terrific!
