Re: Jake Carlisle
Apparently BRN Lennon will walk to the PSD
and be snapped up by Carlton at pick 1. We so should tell the Don's it's our second round pick or will get him in the PSD

No..bargain for Freo.
Buyer Market for them in the end as other suiors dropped off and they convinced him that he should return home to WA. With WCE getting Jetta it was a market of one.

Re: Jake Carlisle
In theory at least if Carlisle went into the PSD and Carlton took Lennon in the PSD, then if Essendon held back a pick and had the salary cap, they could reclaim Carlisle with PSD pick 4.footynut wrote:Apparently BRN Lennon will walk to the PSD

Ahead of our PSD pick 5.
But just imagine how useless Carlisle would be on the field sulking all year.

Re: Jake Carlisle
Essendon is clearly only going to do a deal at one second before midnight, if at all.
St Kilda needs to move on, working on the basis that Carlisle is off the table.
Do what trading we can then at one second to midnight go to Essendon with whatever we have left.
Hopefully by then we have got good value for pick 5 and Essendon will see that they are not going to get to rip us off.

Doubt they'd want to draft someone with a possible drug suspension hanging over his head

Re: Jake Carlisle
I just looked at the Jake Carlilse Thread on BF.....
Good god - not sure if I need a scotch or a hug after wasting precious seconds of my life reading the dribble coming from the Junkies faithful.
I've given up hating on the players in the WADA thing, I hope they get off. But nothing would please me more than WADA taking their big stick and wiping that club and their bunch of peanut supporters into oblivion.

"We can report that we have spoken to Richmond and they say have no interest in Jake Carlisle, and have not offered pick 12 in any deal," Anderson said.
"That information has been put out there to put some pressure on the St Kilda football club to give up what they don't want to give up."

If the Hawks get Carlisle I am done with football full stop.
Just have the hawks play the interstate teams in a round robin in september for the GF and piss off the season. Waste of time.

Is it just me or does North Melbourne get royally screwed in that deal that the age is reporting?

Re: Jake Carlisle
We need a couple of gun mids more than we need Carlisle right now. Keep pick 5 for a gun mid or another Hugh Goddard type.

Re: Jake Carlisle
Wow, that is a major twist in events. I'm actually feeling almost relieved that Hawthorn are cutting in. I want pick 5 more than Carlisle. Hawthorn can have this dance with Essendon.
Curb your enthusiasm - you’re a St.Kilda supporter!!

Re: Jake Carlisle
Correct. He's not worth having. He's bad tempered and a proven sook. He also has a two year suspension hanging over his head and as Robbo has stated ,he has never managed a full season and has only played two good games in the past two years.IluvHarvey wrote:i am so sick of the Carlisle thing.

Re: Jake Carlisle
Carlisle to Hawthorn sounds like another load of BS like the Richmond red herring.
North would be crazy to take Anderson for that and how the hell could Hawthorn fit Carlisle into their cap ?
I call BS.
Hang 'em out to dry Saints.
Worse case... we have pick 5. happy days !

I some how think the AFL will not be happy if this happens. Just like they were furious when the Swans hijacked Buddy.Life Long Saint wrote:Now The Age is reporting Hawthorn are into Carlisle.
