If you haven't figured out by now that 90% of the time I'm taking the piss and trying to lighten the sky is falling mentality around here then I can't help you
He was late for training because there was a fatilty on the road
Not his fault, he prob left early enough to get to training
Should he be showing some initiative and be getting his ass to training half hr or even an hr before everyone else to prove he wants it?. Prob yeah...that's what I'd be doing...proving that im in it for the long haul.
But that's me and jake is not me
It's not like he slept in or had a big one the night before
It was a legit reason
The bloke is also selling his house from what I've heard, so the commute for him is easier and quicker
God I know plenty of blokes even in their 30s that play a fair bit of Xbox
So what?
They Rent out being sick heads or hurting anyone
I don't game myself as I have no time for it,but each to their own
No ones saying your opinions are crap, or not worthy bought
I just think they are fed up with hearing it a dozen timez

Are there any women on this forum today? As usual, Satchmo, you've put a smile on my face. Now if you'll just get rid of that appalling avatar!satchmo wrote:White Winmar wrote:This reminds me of the biblical parable, you know the one where the Pharisees and the angry mob bring a naked, bruised and beaten woman into the Temple for judgement by JC (No, not Jake Carlisle, but Jesus Christ). Jesus Bunk. Drop the overblown ranting. Its just boring, it really is. You'll become as boring a troll as Plugger if you keep screaming out all the trolling cliches "Where is your proof?" "Would you say it to his face", "make a fool of yourself" blah blah. This place is the equivalent of "down the pub" where we all give our uninformed, poorly researched ideas and thoughts .That's the fun of it.Bunk_Moreland wrote:A question for your Bluthy?
Are you over 15 y.o., because if your are you have some serious issues.
Found that corroborating evidence that Carlisle is a drug addict and in rehab?
My god you make a fool of yourself.
Let me guess. Would you ever go up to Carlisle and accuse him of what you do from the comfort of anonimity?
I think everyone gets what type of character you are.
Pretty cowardly would be my answer.
I've been talking about a pattern of immature behavior of Jake. I don't know if its right. No one else does here either but its an interesting discussion. Stop being so tedious with the rants. I rate you above Plugger as someone who can actually discourse in meaningful way. Your overblown reactions on this shows you recognise some truth in what I've said and you won't admit it to yourself. Stop being so hysterical about a pertinent subject.
Re: Carlisle "scandal"
I'm not crucifying him just looking closely at what we got and doing some fun pop-psychology. If you're hearing it a "dozen times" that's because I'm just defending my original argument. Its a called a "discussion" board after all and this was an incident that happened yesterday. Until the draft happens its something to talk about. I don't understand all the stress. Everyone seems to want Jake to be this untouchable golden boy and are scared to hear anything different. Thats' tedious to me. To use the movie topic on this board, "He's not the messiah, he's just a very naughty boy" at the moment.matrix wrote:Throw away lines huh

The club obviously took it seriously by punishing all players. Its an army trick to get his peers to bring him into line. And I think he needs it.

Gee I'm upset you don't rate me. I find you very arrogant and unable to discuss things like a normal person. Do you care. I doubt it at all but I do know this thread is about you making up rubbish to suit your agenda that suggests you didn't want Carlisle. And I'm no troll but you seem to be. I passionate Saints supporter who has done more for the club than I will guess you ever done And I will give you a tip I certainly can discuss things. Its you who have shown you have no ability to change your mind no matter what evidence has been thrown at all. You are boring. And if you are going to bag a player it is completely different to down the pub because your crap is written down.
Carlise is a proven fool but there is not one slight bit of evidence he is in rehab or has an addiction problem. Not one. There is evidence he is a fool because he filmed himself taking drugs. Anymore than that is made up rubbish. Anyway continue on. Just a deeper hole.

Re: Carlisle "scandal"
I wouldn't care if the whole team was a bunch of fools, as long as they play good footy on match day and win games and get us into the finals. Not sure where all this holier-than-thou stuff suddenly came from. Seeing that many in the media, and some Saints supporters are holding themselves up as pinnacles of clean living in respect the JC saga. Maybe we should look to an old proverb: "Without guidance, people fall, but with many counselors there is deliverance." ...and to quote me.."so shall Richo and his wise band of followers, counsel the newly repentent Carlise, and the Saints shall march on to deliver us a flag"

I reckon by the number of times you've mentioned your service to St Kilda (Is it having young players stay at your house?) the you have probably got more out of it than anyone else.ripplug66 wrote:I passionate Saints supporter who has done more for the club than I will guess you ever done

When some morons call you out as a non saint you have every right to stick up for yourself. Maybe if these people would just discuss things than trying to win points as you have just done it wouldn't need to be mentioned. And no player has ever lived with me unless you believe everything I say on here. Surely you aren't that silly. Now how about discussing the topic. At the moment you are sitting on minus 1.

Rubbish . The brothers used to do that over 50 years ago.
