Geez the eagles really are flat track bullies. Need to forget about the score and treat it like a new game after qtr time.

Very lacking in effort or smarts. Total panic football.

It is hard trying not to smash my head against a wall watching this umpiring. Yes we are being smashed off the park but ffs give us a go. Commentators are trying not to laugh at it. Not necessarily the frees they've got but the horrible decions not paid to us.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Eagles @ Subi
Well- we are 2 wins, and supposed to be a team on the rise, yet the Blues are rubbish and have 4 wins. So far we have not progressed since last season apart from looking competitive in a few losses. The first quarter today is as bad as any team could play in one quarter of football.

well, to be fair they don't do themselves any favours when they are so obviously intimidated by the crowd. Home town decisions everywhere.chook23 wrote:stop blaming umpires

Mark of improvement will be to see how we respond...last year's team would have rolled out to 100 point loss. Fingers crossed the boys have more fight now.spert wrote:Well- we are 2 wins, and supposed to be a team on the rise, yet the Blues are rubbish and have 4 wins. Re: Match Thread Saints v Eagles @ Subi
cant watch us v the eagles in perth. Always know we'll get absolutely reamed by the umps - not good for the blood pressure.
sounds pretty awful as usual. wouldn't read to much into it - never went there expecting a win, minds on next week.
